Harold T "Ted" Allyn began Allyn's Jewelers in 1930 on Center Street. A consummate entrepreneur, "Ted" began to build a business built on honesty, trust, and good product. He later moved the business to 3rd Street and Park Ave, where business prospered. After many years, Ted turned the business over to his son, Tom.
. A second generation jeweler, "Tom" and Allyn's Jewelers has provided Ironton and the surrounding area with unmatched sales and service since 1930. Tom is a proud alumni of The Ohio State University. He is also a GIA-certified Gemologist since 1961. In 1993, Tom moved the business from 3rd and Park to its present location at 502. S. 2nd street. Allyn's Jewelers has stood by its motto " We may not be the cheapest but, we are simply the best." In his many years in the jewelry business, Tom has built an impeccable reputation as a jeweler whom you can trust.
Tom's granddaughter, Taylor Allyn Boyer, is a 4th generation Allyn's employee. Like her father, Tim, Taylor started working at Allyn's in the summer. She continuted working as a seasonal employee between teaching. Taylor brings enthusiasm and excitement to your visit at Allyn's. She has learned from the best and is continuing to learn more from her grandfather everyday!
An employee for nearly 10 years, Amanda is a selling- savvy. Amanda will go the distance when it comes to finding the Jewelry your heart desires.
